Ingleton falls is a nice and mostly easy walk of approx 4 and 3/4 miles.
The walk will take most people 3 to 4 hours to walk around.
Not one for granny, but my 10 year old son Robert managed it with out to much moaning.

So what's needed.
Stout shoes or boots are good but the wife did ok in her trainers
good warm jacket/waterproof for the good old English weather which as we all know is very changeable. no map needed as they walk is in private grounds and you follow the path and signs...easy.

As this is in private grounds you pay £3 per adult and £1 per child or £7 for a family ticket to help keep the walk open and to park your car.

You start out in Ingleton Village which is off the A65 half way between Kendal and Settle.
The walk starts in the nice big car park and goes into the wooded valley following the River Twiss

As you follow the river up stream you come to the first of many water falls.
The first being Pecca Falls,
if you are lucky and it has been raining a lot then it may look like this.

There are quite a few steps up to the top of this, so just take your time and enjoy the view. When you get to the top there is a shack you can buy teas and snacks from....this is the only place on the way round, so stock up.

From there you walk onto Thornton Falls

After a shortish walk, 1 mile maybe, on a nice track through a farm or 2 you arrive at
the River Doe and Beezley Falls, then you work your way downstream.
